Playin’ With Fire Band is an original rock band based out of NY. Their music blends influences from classic rock, punk, heavy metal, country, blues, and pop. They also incorporate select covers from bands like Allman Brothers, Pink, Rolling Stones, Pearl Jam, and Fleetwood Mac into their diverse set. They are a performance-based band that puts on a show, led by their charismatic lead singer and guitarist, Kim, who lights the stage on fire.

All band members contribute to songwriting, creating a diverse and unique sound. Their original songs have been featured on upstate NY radio stations like WEXT, RadioradioX, and Nippertown Music, and their music is available on platforms like iTunes, Spotify, and YouTube. Kim was a 2021 Thomas Edison Music Award Nominee for Songwriting and also writes for Nippertown Magazine in Upstate NY

Kim Cirillo-Wickham, also known as Rocker, is the lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, and percussionist for Playin’ With Fire Band. She graduated from Syracuse University with a BFA in musical theatre and started singing at the age of five. Trained in Italian, French, and German, she participated in NYSSMA before choosing to focus on rock, blues, and country music. She has been the lead singer, guitarist, and songwriter for the band since 2007. Many of the songs on the album Closer Than We Know were written by her. In 2021, she was nominated for a Thomas Edison Music Award for Songwriting. After losing friends in the Pan Am 103 tragedy, she took a break from singing but eventually returned to music. Outside of the band, she enjoys hiking, traveling, kayaking, and martial arts.

Dan Wray is the lead guitarist and a vocalist for the band. He has extensive experience as a session musician and has played with multiple artists across different genres. His technical skills and improvisational abilities make him a crucial part of the band’s sound. He also contributes to songwriting and arrangements, helping to shape the band’s unique style.

Dave Bacheldor plays bass and provides backup vocals for the band. His solid bass lines create the foundation of the band’s sound, giving their music a strong rhythmic backbone. He has a background in multiple music genres and has played with various bands over the years. Along with his instrumental skills, he also plays a role in the band’s songwriting and harmonies

Al Kash is the drummer and percussionist for Playin’ With Fire Band. With years of experience behind the kit, he brings energy and precision to every performance. His background in various drumming styles, including rock, blues, and jazz, adds depth to the band’s music. He has worked with multiple bands and musicians throughout his career, making him a seasoned performer.
